Georgia Rehabilitation & Imaging of Warm Springs Medical Center's therapists are trained physical therapyprofessionals that specialize in the areas of human anatomy, kinesiology and work related injury prevention and management. All physical therapists and physical therapy assistants hold a national certification and are licensed to provide services in the state of Georgia. We offer a realm of knowledge including but not limited to back biomechanics, lifting strategies, proper lifting techniques, anatomy of the spine, back conditioning exercises, ergonomics, neurodynamics and optimal posture.

Physical Therapy is the science of promoting functional independence with the overall goal of helping individuals achieve the highest quality of life. Through individualized evaluation and treatment programs, physical therapy is designed to prevent and correct the effects of disability, injury and disease specifically related to movement and function of the neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, and integumentary systems of the human body. The goal of physical therapy is to increase or maintain a level of function through education, hands-on treatment and home programs to allow one to experience improved daily living.
